Then we continue our way to Chumpon. Refuel again (Bht 300). Mus decided to continue riding alone to Pattani.. young guy.. still has good back.

Initially, we thought of finding a cheap chalet at Chumpon beachfront but can't find any.. except the expensive resort. No point staying there since we are going to move out early morning. So turned back to the same Chumpon Grand Palace..

PG-BKK-PG PART 3

DAY 4 22/8/2006

Today no ride... woke up and had a breakfast in the hotel - used coupon. Only dare to eat bread, cereal and 1/2 boiled egg. Lain2 don't know halal or not.

Around 10.30am, xxx took us in her car to see her newly bought house. Cantik gak.. 3 storey link house. Price around bht 1.3mio or isit 2.3mio.. forgot liou

Then xxx took us to her office to park her car. Her office is right infront the famous street.. gotta check tonite.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Then went jalan-jalan until we stopped for a lunch at one muslim restaurant.... if not mistaken the owner is a mamak but serves Thai food... soodaappp..

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Then we took a taxi (5 ppl per taxi) to one of their King's palace or better know as The Grand Palace. It is at Chao Phraya... Tourist has to pay Bht250/person... while Thai ppl F.O.C...

enjoy the pictures.. click to enlarge

One of the picture above shows restoration process done by Thai young artist. Took about 1 year to complete. Better than 'merempit' malam2.

After that we went to take a water taxi at Chao Phraya river.. cost per head was Bht13. Then followed by sky train to xxx's office.. I was already flat...
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

By the time we reached there, it was already getting dark.. I, Pak Aji & Mus decided to stay around for some 'shopping'. While TokWan went back to the hotel.

We didn't take any pictures there because scared get robbed & also don't know whether 'pengulat2' there allows us to take pictures.. anyway shopping at PatPong is like in Petaling Street.. except the sellers there are much more civilised compare to the thugs in Petaling Street (Note: Tourist.. please avoid Petaling Street in KL at all cost.. You get slaughtered & forced to buy at cut throat prices). The shopping is done in the middle of the street, while all the bars are located left & right... You could see some of the actions whenever somebody walk in or out.. so for us, no need to waste our money while we were able to see from outside ;)
(Note to wife: See.. I was a good boy there.. trust me *evil grin*)

We were busy shopping until we didn't realised it was already 10.30pm.. so, we took a tuk tuk who charged us abt Bht150 to go back to the hotel. The Tuk Tuk driver really speeding along the way.. there was one time, he had to apply emergency brake until it slided in the middle of the road in order not to run the red light.. Pak Aji really 'pucat' while we 'young ppl' had the time of our life.. it was like riding a roller coaster. Then while speeding.. krraaakkkk.... wakakakakak the Tuk Tuk abruptly stopped.. we don't know whether the belt or the chain snapped .... terus mati tengah jalan.. we had to stopped another Tuk Tuk to take us back to the hotel. Sampai hotel..mandi2.. sembahyang.. terus bummmmm.....

DAY FIVE 23/08/2006

Woke up.. breakfast (same like yesterday), then went down to look at the bikes..washed a bit, really dusty...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

See... we got VIP treatment from the hotel.. our bikes all parked on the covered parking infront of the hotel security..

Then, xxx took us to Paddock nearby the hotel. The shop is selling all bikes related stuff and mostly branded stuff.. like RS Taichi, Kushitani, Shoei, Arai, Shark etc.. the price is ok la compare to KL. I bought TShirts, glove and Progrip handle cover.

Then xxx took us to muslim housing area.. next time could consider this place to stay.. service apartment only cost Bht4,000 per month.. one week might only cost Bht2,000.. easy to find halal foods.. safe if took family here.. couldn't see any massage parlour.. :-P

Then we went to Siam Superbike to look see the bikes there.. it was raining heavily.. Then went back to the hotel

That nite after dinner, just sembang2 in the room until fell asleep... tomorrow we're going back.... uuuwwwaaaaa

We stopped for lunch at Pracap Khiri Khan, Kak Fatimah's restaurant... She has pretty daughters.. we tried to push Mus to tackle her daughter but I don't think Kak Fatimah would love to take Mus as SIL.. looking at his body, most probably Mus might depleted more rice rather than provide ..Muahahaha

At Hua Hin beach

To 'park' yourself underneath the umbrella, you'd to pay Bht20.. There are a lot of hawkers on foot selling seafoods stuff at reasonable price.. It was nice dozing off on the beach chair until TokWan spoilt it with intruction to move on... haampeehhh...

The first Petronas station we met upon reaching Bangkok.. really proud lehh

We entered Bangkok town around 4.30pm, the notorious Bangkok jam had started.. with big ass scoot, add with two saddle bags.. I could only looked at those kapchai with envy...

We're lucky TokWan was so easy to ask direction..

We continue our ride to Bukit Kayu Hitam border check point.Clearance from Malaysia side was smooth. You don't even have to get down from your bike to process your passport.

At Thai Checkpoint

On Thailand side, the traffic were quite heavy. Must be because of the weekend and malaysian took the opportunity to shopping & entertain themselves here.Like a friend of mine said in jest, Thailand has a lot of orphan who need Malaysian kind heart to give charity ;D

At Thai checkpoint, you need to park your vehicle and process your passport at one dedicated counter. After completed, you'll need to go to another counter to register your vehicle. Make sure you bring the original copy of your vehicle registration or a verified copy (verified by local police station).

3) Khalid - Honda Shadow 600

YOUNG BIKERS
